Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2026-03-17T06:38Z ( STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2026-03-17T06:38:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Source Location: S20E05
Note Keyword:
OVR: Event partially overlaps with another CME
Source Signature Keyword:
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
DIM: Dimming
Morphology Keyword:
Note: Narrow CME seen to the east in STEREO A COR2. Not visible in SOHO LASCO C2/C3 or GOES CCOR-1 imagery. The potential source is an eruption with dimming and opening field lines starting around 2026-03-17T03:55Z as seen on the SE limb in STEREO A EUV 195 imagery. This is similar to the source eruption associated with CME: 2026-03-17T05:08Z, which overlaps in the field of view of the coronagraph, but there may be two eruptions associated with this event. The eruption can also be seen as dimming in GOES-Secondary SUVI 195 imagery, centered around S20E05.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
